| To the Island |

| You will reach the Island, that is in lake Ems from a little beach. We mostly park our car there so you can always use it to look around on the mainland. |
| This is what you see when you look from the beach to the island. Well, trust us...on the right is the island. When you get closer to that green line you will find that there are two islands and you are looking for the one at the right. |
| So the thing you will do next, is load the canoe and paddle to the green line for a first look at the island. The canoe will be your car for the time on the island, but you get used to it very quickly. It's very different from the transport most of us are used to, but a great way to get around. |
| Once you are on the island you can't exactly lock the doors and take the key out, but be certain not to let your canoe float away. |
