| One of our days on (off) the island we spent in the Glasskogen. It's a wonderful nature reserve with an amazing 45.000 acres! At the visitor centre you can get maps for canoeing, hiking and cycling. If you want a closer look go to: |
| Something we like to do on a holiday is playing with the camera to get different perspectives on things. Like the water in this small waterfall. |
| There are some houses and stugas in the Glasskogen and also places to camp. Around the visitors' centre things look a lot like a big park with a pond and small houses. |
| Later things get rougher, nature with a capital N! |
| Some of the swedish " wildlife" can be pretty big when compared to it's Dutch aquivalent. |
| These pictures are pretty old, but we don't want to keep them from you. The first time we were on the island two families were staying there as well. The fathers built the raft with wood found on the island and the whole group of nine took the raft for a spin to the next island. They had one heck of adventure with that! |
