From 4 to 8 days - 'Hoz'
When we finally found ourselves alone in a room at the back of Hoz we both cried a bit, partly from relief but also from tiredness. The time we spent there seemed like a kind of ‘honeymoon’. The weather and the view were beautiful, and it didn’t matter that we weren’t sleeping much; Jordan would sleep all day and struggle with colic at night. These photos of him awake are quite unusual, as they were taken during the day. The Saturday morning, Lisa’s birthday, was also the morning of the school cross-country, which started outside our flat. It was great to see all the kids, and we sat outside with Jordan in the sun and watched the end of the race. We spent from Friday to Wednesday there, before finally moving back home to Selborne.
