Well, yes, even rooks and queens can do pin. But pin is best suited for bishop. ?The thing is that any piece that can aim straight can pin against enemy king or queen. Pin is kinda cheap stuff to do and gets pretty annoying sometimes. But you have to watch out for pins and avoid if you have to. Often the pin ends up as cancellation such as knight for bishop. When rook pins through the open line, often it's like enemy king or queen behind pawn. Try to put a fight to the pawn. The pawn can't move diagonally because of the pin. |
