Copyright (C) by Noelene Rout 16th January 2006 All rights reserved. You will need. Three cups of water..One cup of dish washing liquid..Half a cup of Glycerine. A container, a piece of plastic, or wire, with a round, or even square hole at one end, you can even try to blow bubbles through a straw that has been given two little slits up either side of the other end of the straw. Mix the ingredients together. Give the mixture a good stir, and let it stand over night. Optional. Place the rounded or squared, end of the wire or straw, into the mixture, and when you see a film of soapy water across the circle, or square, blow into the film, and watch the water stretch, as the bubble is filled with air. Put some of your bubble mixture into a bowl ouside in the sun, get a straw, and blow lots of bubbles in the mixture in the bowl. Watch the bubbles pop and vanish. Look at the little bubbles, can you see the colours of the rainbow in your bubbles? The colours of the rainbow are in your bubble because, as light passes through drops of water the light is broken up into colours.
