Light is reflected. Light carries the image of the rainbow into our eyes. In the gospel of John Jesus Christ said, that we cannot see in the dark, that we cannot see without light, (that it is light that enables us to see)..John 11:10 Light captures the images of everything that it shines upon (illuminates), and carries those pictures into our eyes. Jesus Christ said, we see light..Jn 11:9 We see light when we see the images of the things that light has captured and carried into our eyes..Light shines upon things..Light looks at light. When I look at an object I am looking at light and light is looking back at me..When I am looking at an object the light is looking back at me, (I see an image of the object in the light). Light is reflected. If I take the lid of a box, and I look at an object in the box, light carries the picture of the object into my eyes. If I put the lid back on the box, I can no longer see the object with my eyes, but the object still exists within the box..It was light that looked at the object in the box, and it was light that showed it to me.. Psalm 36:9 Light gives light. Light presents the rainbow..Light appears..I see the light when the sun rises..I see the light when I see the rainbow..Light shews us our surroundings. We shew light, (our surroundings).
