Misogyny and Bad Things said about Women

These quotes do not reflect the views of me, the collector, but of various other scholars. I think they deserve a section seperate from the classic insults because they are broader in scope (and some may say narrower in mind).

If I get requests for it, I will make a page going the other way as well. Although how could anyone say anything bad about men as a whole *chuckle*.

"All psychologists who have studied the intelligence of women... recognize today that they represent the most inferior forms of human evolution, and that they are closer to children and savages than to an adult, civilized man. They excel in fickleness, inconstancy, absence of thought and logic, and incapacity to reason. Without doubt there exist some distinguished women, very superior to the average man, but they are as exceptional as the birth of any monstrosity as for example, a gorilla with two heads; consequently, we may neglect them entirely."
-Gustave Le Bon (French Anthropologist), "Revue d'Anthropologie"

"Do you think God knew what He was doing when He created woman? Huh? No shit. I really wanna know. Or do you think it was another one of His minor mistakes like tidal waves, earthquakes, FLOODS? You think women are like that? S'matter? You don't think God makes mistakes? Of course He does. We ALL make mistakes. Of course, when WE make mistakes they call it evil. When GOD makes mistakes, they call it... nature. So whaddya think? Women... a mistake... or DID HE DO IT TO US ON PURPOSE?"
-Daryl Van Horne (The Witches of Eastwick, spoken by Jack Nicholson)

"All dames are alike. They reach down your throat so they can grab your heart, they pull it out, they throw it on the floor and they step on it with their high heels. They spit on it. Then they slice it into little pieces, slam on a hunk of toast and serve it to you. And they expect you to say: Thanks honey, it's delicious."
-from "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"
