Well here we are, Calvin, my new Meso-American Slider (Trachemys Scripta Venusta). I received him on July 28, 1999 at the age of 1.5-2 months. Calvin is roughly about 1 3/4 inches, and will be housed with Myrtle, Chomps, and Hobbes in the 90 gallon tank. As you can see this little turtle is brightly colored, and very interesting looking. Calvin was named because he always seems to get pushed around by the larger Hobbes, so i named them after Calvin&Hobbes. Here are the pics!
