Last year 1997 I lost both of my companions, the only ones that gave me so much love, that humans can never give, the unconditioal love. They were both Old English Sheepdogs. King was the older one, and Nelson was his son. I lost King in February, he was
4 years old. Later that year his son Nelson also left me. I thank God for letting me have them that long. They were a blessing from above. Every night I brushed them. They were looking foreward to this every day. We talked and they game me kisses. King li
ed to sit with me and I had to hold his paw. He could sit there for hours. Nelson liked to heard the children that came to my house. He was the sweetest dog ever. I never met anyone as loving. Sometimes King would get upset with him and growl at him. He w
uld never fuss, just lick King's nose.
It has been a year and I still think about them every day and the silly things that they have done.I sit in my backyard and look over to the place where they are buried, my sweet babies.
One day we will cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
