Renny's Farm

My owners have a friend that owns a farm.
One time we went and they have a big dog named Woofer. Along with Shannon,
Tiffany, Ebony, her 11 puppies and Penny. He is an Irish wolfhound
(incase you don't know, Irish wolfhounds are the tallest breed of dogs.)
When we got there we got out of the van and Woofer came over to see me.
(Woofer was lucky, he didn't have to wear a leash, I did.) We started sniffing
each other and of course the leader, me, could sniff Woofer, but how dare
Woofer think he can sniff me. So I barked, growled and tried to bite.
Woofer is AFRAID to go anywhere near me now. He may be big and
I may be small but I am the leader. The boss.
Want to see a picture of me and woofer side by side? (Bad quality)

Barbie a la Plastic

Yummmm, Barbie's!!!
At night I usually sleep with my owners or their daughter, well one night when
jumping on to my owners daughters bed, I discovered something very tasty
and delicious on her bed, A BARBIE!!! She had long flowing blond hair,
just the way I like it, first, I tore all of the hair out of her head and shredded
it nice and finely. Then, I moved on to the arms and legs. My second favourite
part. I chewed them right off and when I was through, not one piece of her
arms nor legs was bigger than a crumb. Then I just slobbered on her head a
little and buried her in the covers. In the morning, She got up and went to the
bathroom like she usually does, so I did what I usually do, go visit my owners son.
All of a sudden I heard a scream and then crying from the masters daughters
bedroom. I ran into their to see what was wrong and she was crying on the bed,
holding the body of the barbie I had chewed up yelling, bad dog, bad dog,
I hate you, Bailey. The mother rushed in to comfort her but she kept yelling at me.
Nobody ever did tell me why she was mad at me. She should be proud that she
owned such a tasty barbie!! Oh boy was it good. So what was she crying about?????????

Hide and go Pup

There is this one game that I play with my owners but I don't really think I like
it anymore. I only play this game with my mommy and my female play mate.
One of them goes to one of the small rooms in the house, and the other takes
me and puts me somewhere like, behind a door, between two pieces of furniture,
in the bathtub, under some laundry... Then she tells me to stay and I have to stay
there while the other person has to find me. I have to be very quiet and still so she
won't find me. It wasn't that bad of a game, I actually kind of liked it. Now, however,
I guess they are running out of hiding places because they tried putting me in places
I didn't want to be in like in the washer (NOT while it was running), squashed
between pillows, beside the garbage can, (There was nothing wrong with that
except I couldn't resist the smell and kept moving.), in the cupboards and in a
dark lonely closet. I didn't like that very much. You see, I am actually a scaredy
dog but don't tell anybody. I need to keep my reputation as a tough dog.
(See story one) When the other owner found me I was shaking like a leaf.
They decided not to play that game anymore.

Cold Hurts

One day when it was really cold and snowy outside, my master opened the door to
look outside and me being naturally interested, looked out the window of the door too.
All of a sudden I smelled something coming from the base of the door. "Hmm," I thought,
"I wonder what if I lick it, I might taste whatever it is?" So I tried it... My tongue stuck to
the door!!!! Ouch!!!! I will never do that again. My masters felt bad for me but at the
same time, couldn't stop laughing. I don't think it is very funny.

My visit to Petsmart

On February 6th, I went for my first visit to Petsmart. It was so cool. The place was really
big and was packed with people and animals. I searched every aisle, high and low and
especially sniffed the treat isle. I got my family to buy me a toy. It is a squeaky porcupine.
There was a whole bunch of different dogs there from a puny little chihuahua puppy to a
Saint Bernard that was 10 times my size. I got my picture taken with my human sister and
it got put into a button. Go to my
pictures page to see it. I can't wait to go there again.
My mom set me up for obedience classes. (ahhh!) Oh well, at least I will get to see all the dogs.

Hide and go seek

My family figured out a better way to play hide and go seek. They hide instead of me.
This game is great fun. I am put into a room and my human sister hides somewhere.
Then my master opens the door and tells me to "Find Kathleen" of course by now I
know what I am supposed to do. When I find her, I get a treat. I am getting so good
at this that she has to think up different places to hide. She has hid; in the bathtub,
on the counter, behind the desk, under the covers, in the closet, on the washing machine
and under the desk. She had hid other places too but those are the most common.
I look there every time now.

First Three classes at Petsmart

I have attended three classes so far and I am doing great! I am having fun too.
I have met many different dogs. One of my favorite new friends is a really big
dog that is about three times my size. I don't know what breed he is but he is
really friendly. The only thing I don't like is when he paws me in the face. I know
he is just kidding but sometimes it hurts because he forgets how big he is. I also
made friends with this really little yorkshire terrier. She is so small and so cute.
She is about the size of a regular Chihuahua. There are only a couple of dogs I
don't like, a jack russel terrier, a black lab and a Keeshond. I have learned many
things so far, like that I should always pay attention to my owner so I know what
they want me to do, how to sit, how to stay, how to heel with turns and next week
we will learn how to do a figure eight and weave in and out while in a heel postition.
I can't wait!!

Graduation from Petsmart

Well, I finally graduated from Petsmart. It was great. One by one, they called our
names and we got to go up, get our diploma, get a free bag of homemade doggie
cookies, a coupon for Petsmart for grooming, an invitation to more obedience classes
and best of all, a bone to chew one that can be put in the microwave to make it more
crunchier. It was so much fun. The week before, we had a little test but it wasn't hard
(at least for me!), we just had to preform any two of the things we had learned from
the classes. My master chose to do the heel and the down-stay. I suggest obedience
lessons at Petsmart to everyone.

Minus a Nail

Well, sorry I haven't written for so long. Not much to say, just wanted to let everyone
know what's been going on. A while ago, I was excited because my owners were coming
home and so I was jumping at the front door as usual. Well, I guess they opened it to fast
because they ripped my back toe nail right off! I didn't really notice it and they didn't either
until they saw blood marks all over the floor where I walked. They took me to the vet and
I got my hind leg/foot wrapped up like a cast. It was really hard to walk with it on. I wanted
it off so bad.I kept licking at the top of it where the thing stopped and you could see my leg
again. Well, I licked so much that I made the spot red and sore. It hurt so much. So I went
to the vet again, they cleaned me up, and gave me a new bandage. Then they put this
disgusting tasting stuff on my bandage so that I wouldn't lick it. It tasted horrible. Well,
I had it on for a couple weeks and then finally they took me back to the vet and I got it
off. Luckily, the nail has grown back, the vet said it wouldn't. It's a miracle.
