We Survived the F-5 of May 3, 1999 When I added the graphic of "One of Our Spring Toys" to the beginning of this site, never did I imagine that a few weeks later the state of Oklahoma would have the worst storm system move through that has ever been recorded. This storm system did things that they aren't supposed to do. So this page will be dedicated to those who lost their lives in the F-5 tornado of May 3, 1999. And to those whom we may never know about. This may not be Kansas Dorothy, but been there, done that, got the T-shirt !!
