          EXT. WOODS - NIGHT (NIGHT ONE)

          ANGLE : WILLOW

          as we TRACK her from the side as she frantically runs
          through the woods, chasing something.

          ANGLE : BUFFY, GILES AND CHRIS

          as we TRACK them from the side as they chase after
          Willow.

          ANGLE : XANDER AND ANYA

          as we TRACK them from the side as they bring up the
          rear, chasing after the rest of the Scoobs.

          ANGLE : WILLOW

          from in front, running towards the camera.

                                          WILLOW
                         Tara!

          REVERSE ANGLE :

          from Willow's POV, periodic flashes of a brilliant
          white light ahead as trees continue to crash down
          noisily.

          ANGLE : WILLOW

          as she trips and falls over a branch. Buffy and Giles
          arrive to help her up.

                                          BUFFY
                         Will, you okay?

          Willow nods and begins to set off after Tara again
          when the lightning flashes suddenly stop. An eerie
          silence descends upon the scene.

          The rest of the group catches up with Buffy, Giles and
          Willow.

                                          ANYA
                         Who turned out the lights?

          Buffy shooshes Anya. Everyone is listening intently
          and peering hard into the dark woods ahead of them.

                                          BUFFY
                              (calling out)
                         Tara?

                                          XANDER
                         Tara?

                                          ANYA
                         Tara? Tara?
                              (new tactic)
                         Scary flying Tara?

          Willow gives Anya a quick look.

                                          ANYA
                         Sorry.

          Willow takes a step forward, talking to the woods.

                                          WILLOW
                         Tara? Tara, baby, it's me. Please
                         answer me.

          The gang looks around. Nothing but silence.

                                          ANYA
                         Okay, nothing good ever happens when
                         things are this quiet.

                                          XANDER
                         Will, maybe we should head back for
                         now.

                                          WILLOW
                         No! We have to find her. We can't
                         just leave her like this. We have to
                         get her back.

                                          BUFFY
                         We will. But, we're not going to
                         find her this way. This is like an
                         entire forest.

                                          ANYA
                         It'll be like finding a needle in a
                         haystack. A really big, dark, scary
                         haystack.

                                          GILES
                         The General may come back with more
                         vampires. It's too dangerous.

          Giles comes up to Willow and put his hands on her
          shoulders.

                                          GILES
                         We'll find her. We'll bring her
                         back. I promise.

          Willow looks at Giles for a beat. She looks back
          towards the woods, resigned.

                                          WILLOW
                         Don't worry baby. I'll find you.
                         I'll find you.

          The Scoobs slowly turn to go. They exit the scene. We
          PAN up to reveal Tara, eyes still completely black,
          hovering over the forest and looking down at the scene
          before her.
