| 1. Overall track length: 185'-200' 2. Track pulling length: 150' 3. Track pulling width: 12'-18' 4. Track should have a 10' safety lane between track and spectators. 5. Track pulling surface should extend at least 10' beyond finish line. 6. Track should have sufficient distance before starting line for pull back tractor and sled. (25'-30') 7. Track must be a hard packed surface, preferably clay, and should be moist but not wet. If track is sandy, some means of leveling and packing should be available. 8. Good lighting is a must for safety. 9. Need bathrooms nearby. |
