Information About our Faith
Below are some questions and answers which may help you understand our faith. If you have other questions, please email me and I will be glad to answer them here.
What is The Unified Church and Community of Solosexual Phallic Thought and Prayer"?
We are a "community" of men who worship and love God. As with all traditional religions and faiths we believe in divine prayer and meditation. What sets us apart is we meditate and receive spiritual energy from not only deep though through our minds but we employ the physical body as well with a major focus on the aroused state of our male genitalia.
Isn't this some grand excuse for "jacking off"?
No not at all. As men we could "jack off" any time we want and engage in all types of sexual pastimes. The opportunity is out there to engage freely in sexual play. This is something we choose not to do. We seek no partners either for sexual gratification or companionship. Our stimulus is the love of God and through that love of God we strive to improve ourselves so that we can live a better life and make a contribution to society as clean living moral men. We judge no one as far as their religious beliefs go and we expect no one to judge us. We all worship God in our own ways.
Who may join The Unified Church and Community of Solosexual Phallic Thought and Prayer?
Any single man over 18 years of age may contact us. We do not recruit, beg or try to trick people in joining our faith. God will call a man into our fold. We do not keep mailing lists nor do we solicit membership other than providing this webisite and making available information to those who ask for it. We welcome all to apply to join but we also feel that our faith is valid whether we are populated with one man or millions.
How old is your religion?
The notion of the Phallus as the core of one's faith (see Historical Perspective) goes back as far as pre-history. The Phallus still plays an important part of the Jewish faith. Many Christians and other faiths still incorporate the phallus into some of their rites and ceremonies. Until recently, January 1 was called "Feast of the Circumcision" in the Catholic Church. So in that regard our faith and much of its beliefs are ancient. As a formal religious group we are young and evolving. Faiths and religions are born out of men joining together with common beliefs towards God and their humanity. In the case of our faith this have been happening over the last decade in a very informal manner such as discussions and informal meetings. One factor that is common among all of our believers is that no church provided them with spiritual fulfillment and many have been searching all their lives. We are a young organization but strong in our beliefs and rich in spiritual history.
Where are your places of Worship?
Unlike traditional religions we have no place of worship as of yet. Hopefully over time we may develop in some areas meeting places and we even have longer range plans to develop monasteries in areas where such an establishment would be practical. For now our place of worship is within our own individual homes. In the coming months and year we will establishing districts around the nation and hopefully within those districts some of the good men out there with the blessing of God will host meetings in their homes. If you think you would be interested in hosting such services please email me today! We are no different that any other faiths in its early stages.
Who is in charge of your organization?
Currently the church is administered by a council of men. For now our number one task is Doctrine and Church Law. Once these guidelines are establish we can move on to establishing a more formal hierarchy of Church leaders. We are always looking for help and if you feel you have something to offer please get in touch with us.
What beliefs does your church subscribe to? Christian? Pagan? Moslem?
We are neither Christian or Jewish or Moslem or part of any other major religion. Some may describe as New Age, other Tantric and yet others will call us pagan. We believe we are none of those and adhere to our own beliefs which are drawn from many religions and are also inspired by God.
Are women allowed in your faith?
Women are not allowed. Like some other religious sects we are a male only monastic society. We respect and love our "sisters" and "mothers" but they have no place in our community.
Naked men Phalluses ? Are you men gay?
Some of us I suppose would be, just as some of us have sexual orientation towards the opposite sex and others would be bisexual. But that questions means nothing to us since once a man is welcomed into our community he then becomes Solosexual. He observes no sexual attraction to either women or men. We are celibate. Our meditations and prayers are all focused on our bodies energy and directed to God and the goodwill of mankind.
Why the rules and regulations about nudity?
We do not believe naked is wrong and adhere to the simple fact that we enter this world naked. Under God we have no shame of our bodies and only wish to worship God as he created us. Our faith does not believe in the Bible either the Old Testament or New Testament. The notion of being shameful of our bodies following Eve taking of the forbidden fruit means nothing to us at all.
Do you celebrate holidays and observances such as Christmas?
We as any other faith have a church calendar where we observe different feasts and holy days, some of more significance than others. These are observances which pertain to our faith only for the spiritual enrichment of community. We do not observe holidays like Christmas or Easter. Christmas is contrary to our beliefs and in modern times this holiday has come to symbolize greed and money.
It seems most religions impose rules and regulations .. is this true of your church?
Absolutely! Probably more so than most religions. Foe starters we lead a celibate life. We also lead a frugal life and try to live as simply as we can. During the course of the year we celebrate feasts which in some cases are festive and joyful but there are other times we offer our love to God by fasting and abstaining from some of life's pleasures. We spend many hours alone in meditation and prayer and thought. The bottom line we don't "party" much nor do we waste time watching reruns on TV or waste money on ridiculous holiday shopping.
Many religions do much for charity, what is going on with Solosexual Phallic Thought and Prayer?
Hopefully over time once we grow in numbers we will be able to establish programs for the good of our men and the good of our fellow men outside the community. Each of us strives to live a good life and all of us in keeping with God's love does his best to help others.
Is there sin in The Unified Church and Community of Solosexual Phallic Thought and Prayer?
We are not a free for all group of sex crazed men. Yes, we do use the sexual energy from our bodies to express our love for God but to us this form of sexual energy is not sinful nor do we considerate it sexual in the way the general public perceives sex to be. We use sin as reminders. We try to be mindful of those past times and events which we encounter during day to day life and find contrary to our beliefs and harmful to our well being. We do not smoke cigarettes, chew tobacco, drink hard liquor or use narcartics. At times beer and wine is allowed during certain feasts but only in moderation. The enjoyment of tobacco outside of cigarettes (pipe and cigars) is at times acceptable. Certain types of pornography is forbidden but other types of erotica is acceptable as long as what is being betrayed is non violent and in keeping with the human spirit of our faith. Sexual relations among the members of the community is forbidden. Certain body contact in various rites and prayers is allowed but only with the intent of enhancing the sexual energy and love being offered to god.
Is the public invited to your worship services?
No. As a monastic community we pray and worship in private among ourselves. Outsiders would only diminish our focus. Many religions the world over adopt this cloistered and monastic philosophy.
Who is your God?
Our God is your God. God is God. He loves you and loves us all.
Do you believe in Jesus?
Jesus perhaps was a good man who lived a long time ago. From historical account he was a teacher and much of his teachings were for the good of man kind. Jesus lived and died as a man and nothing else. That is what we believe. We do not mark any Christian Holiday.
Is there an age restriction to the men in your Faith?
No. Any single man from 18 and up are welcomed.
Do you believe in heaven and hell?
We offer no guidelines on that. For some of us there is heaven on earth and for others there is a strong belief in the after life. We let each member create his own theology on that issue and we encourage discussion on it at well.
What are your rites and ceremonies like?
Since the public is not invited it makes no sense to discuss it. Our rites and rituals are very sacred and private to us. Like the gatherings, masses and ceremonies of other faiths our intention is to love God and to enrich our human and spiritual lives
Do you think God is a woman?
I believe God has a massive erect phallus.
