	Charles Dance Starring as Erik (Carrier) in the 1990 TV Miniseries Phantom of the Opera Born: October 10 1946 Nationality: British Charles Dance attended art school in England where he met his wife Joanna. He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company before he became a film star. Through out his career he has had a variety of roles from leading men parts to character actors to memorable villains.
