Modern Biotechnological Approaches as Complementary Tools for Drug Discovery

The workshop will include theoritical lectures and practical traning with hands on instruments. This will be concentrated on biochemical, immunological and molecular biology tools that can be incorporated as in vitro or ex-vivo bioassays to aid screening the efficacy of newly synthesized drugs

The workshop will include the following

1- Biochemical characterization of enzymes activities and     screening for enzyme inhibitors. 2- Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. 3- Western blotting analysis. 4- Immunofuoresence analysis. 5- Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) 6- Real-time PCR.

Fees for participation in the workshop: 600 L.E. for each participant
