The membership requirements are as follows:

1.  At least five or more visits spread out in a reasonable amount of time interacting with others of the Kingdom so they may get to know the applicant. Obviously solo visits won't accomplish this.

2.  A request for membership to be posted to the
Membership Request Board of the Kingdom so its members can either support or dispute the request.

3.  A submitted bio sent to the Kingdom's
e-mail please.
We wish it as a courtesy so members may know something of your character.  Remember we are a NON-magical home so no need in asking of such for your bio.  We are striving to be true medieval and historical as possible.

4.  An active e-mail address, ICQ number, or MSN Messenger ID.  We prefer these so the King and Queen may be able to contact you if need be for home business.  No one else need have them if you don't wish them to and the King and Queen will honor that.

5.  Not be a deceased character from another room looking for a place to revive and run your dead character.  We abide by other rooms' valid rulings of such as we hope they abide by ours.

6.  Final approval from the King and Queen as Pembrokeshire has no formal council of rulership since its a ruled Kingdom.  Only the King and Queen may bypass any of these rules for whatever reason at any time.

7.  No more than one permanent character per player unless Thomas and Catherine both give permission first.  Temporary npc's for a current roleplay are exempt but a heads up ahead of time would prevent confusion and such for other members.

8.  There will be NO new non-npc/non-member child characters.  This is without exception.  Lost children wandering around in medieval times just wasn't common considering the times and distances involved.

9.  There will be NO slaves of ANY kind in the home.  Wales was not a place where slaves were plentiful so having one suddenly appear running from masters or whatever just isn't feasible or wanted in this home.  Leave Gor where it belongs, in Gor.  We have servants and will allow new members to become one if they choose but a free and willing servant and a slave are vastly different and that's how we like it and prefer it.

10.  To avoid confusion within the room during roleplay and conversation we ask that new/present members or visiting guests holding guest tags to please look to our
Member's Page, Servant's Page, and Knighthood Page and look to see what each member, npc servant, and one of the Knights wears as their chosen avitar and to not run something or someone already taken.  Before running the avitar of an npc servant or Knight please get the all clear from Thomas or Catherine to do so.
(Example: Kyle runs George Clooney in his ava's so please don't choose to run him also.  And Alice the npc chambermaid runs Julia Ormond. Find another to run or in the case of an npc of PK please clear it first to avoid confusion.)
We apologize for any slip ups of the past and for the delay in our rules finally applying to this issue.

11.  As of 05/04/03 the new ruling for retaining membership is that each
active member must at least once every two r/t weeks post to and read the home's public r/p boards stating something of what their character has been doing in r/p and such if not in the room for this amount of time.  If they are to be away for an extended amount of time r/t we respectfully ask they be considerate enough to post to the home's OOC boards stating such and hopefully some reasonable idea of when they expect to return.

We would appreciate that if you're going to take the time to apply and we take our time and effort for you, you at least try to be around the home some aside from r/t scheduling difficulties.  We are NOT a tag/home handout for you.

NOTE:  Membership may be revoked at any time by the room leadership for any reason they deem appropriate or absent members moved to "Inactive" status.
These rules may change at any time per room leaders' wishes.
Keeping up with any changes is the members' or guests' responsibility, not the room leaderships'.
