* Coolness - basically, how cool was the hike/trip? Every hike we've done has something about it that's good, but some are oh-so-amazing, you know? The scale is C (cool), VC (very cool), OMG (oh-my-god cool). And sometimes I throw in pluses and minuses, too.
*** Difficulty is very subjective. Please email me if you have any questions. Also, the ratings are for the category - e.g. In Winter Hikes, Caribou is easy for a winter backcountry ski destination, and Bierstat is easy for a Fourteener. But they aren't the same difficulty. As always, use your own judgement.
