ROOM SERVICE TUSDAYS 35 E 21ST NEW YORK CITY

Susanne Bartsch & Kenny Kenny have a new party. Room Service every Tuesday @ 35 E 21st Street. In one room you can find a large parade of lipstick boys and downtown fashionistas. The dj plays 80’s house and acid with some electro. Acts like The Ones and Jonet have performed. Amanda Lepore and Ryan Styles are also booked for future nights. After you get bored of the fashion parade and photographers clambering for photos of the freaks, there is a little dark doorway that leads to the adjoining club. This is when you realize your at a Susanne Bartsch event, when you enter you find yourself in a room full of topless women giving lap dances to a bunch of straight men in business suits. It’s very 1980’s London Soho. I have attended Susanne Bartsch events for many years and she always has a surprise at all her parties that has us all gasping with belly ticklish laughter. I’ve seen strippers shoot ping-pong balls out of their vagina, runway modeling in a shallow pool and some of the best performance art in the world. Room Service is living up to its name.
