Rory B. Quintos
is one of the few Filipino women directors who have successfully inched her way to a profession dominated by men. A graduate of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quintos who majored in broadcasting began a career in television where she successively spent years as production assistant, production manager, floor director, associate producer before finally crossing over to film first as assistant director and eventually as director. She belongs at present to the stable of filmmakers of Star Cinema Productions, Inc. for which she made box-office smash hits and crowd favorites like Basta't Kasama Kita, Mangarap Ka, Sa Aking Mga Kamay,Paano ang Puso Ko and her latest, Ipaglaban Mo - The Movie 2.
