Tisoy sees Bernal teaming up with noted writer/cartoonist Nonoy Marcelo, in one of his early attempts to tackle social/political issues using comedy and satire. Filmed in the late seventies, Tisoy is the young and handsome Christopher de Leon, now popularly known as one of Philippine cinema's seasoned dramatic actors.
