Purpose, vision and goals of the class of 1955 |

The classof 1955 will provide financial support for proper educational programs to enable students to one day contribute positively to our society. We intend to encourage creative thinking and critical thinking of the class, school and community as desireable qualities to solve real problems. In this effort our school and community play a supportive role as we assist in the prparation of PHS students for the future. |
Vision Statement |
Provide leadership and encourage class of '55 members to participate in alumni activities and to keep in contact with one another using a variety of medium such as newsletter, meetings, our website or other activities. Provide and mainatain an up to date address list of class members, elect a steering/planning committee, maintain liaison with the PHS Alumi Association and maintain a treasury for various activities. |
Vision Strategy |
Honor all class members (K-12) by inclusion of graduates and non-graduates. Honor all deceased class members. A web page on this site has been developed for this purpose. Honor all recently deceased parents of class members. A web page on this site had been developed for this purpose. |
Solicit class of '55 support of current high school academic, sports and other co-curricular activities. Solicit the class of '55 to reach out and, from time to time, raise funds in support of current high school activities and/or scholarships. Solicit the class of '55 to reach out and maintain contact with former teachers and administrators. |
$5,500.00 to be raised by 2005. |
50th Anniversary celebration and presentation to help PHS achieve its educational goals. |
