True to the consistency of Rangers - goalkeeper Grant Johnson and striker Gilbert Mushangazike secured themselves places in the line-up of the KickOff "Team of the Season". Johnson who is approaching his 4th season with the Maulers and Mushangazike his 3rd respectively have proven themselves through this season to be consistent performers. Indeed, the fact the Johnson still is'nt part of the Bafana Bafana setup leaves a few questioning thoughts lingering about the current crisis in the national camp. Mushangazike on the other hand has shot into the remodelled Zimbabwean team together with former teammate Innocent Chikoya and featured prominently in the Zimbos win over Bafana in the Presidential Inauguration Challenge in June.
While Johnson and Mushangazike leapfrogged into the Top 10 players, centreback Bradley Muir tabled in at 35 and DRC national Liswa Nduti came in at 45.
