T`ai Chi, Dancing of any form, Walking, reading movies, good beer, red wines, almost any food (exception: brussels sprouts), M&M peanuts, the McCallan, chinese philosophy , go, poker and bridge.

who grew up in Mt. Vernon, NY. with a (mild) form of cerebral palsy, but drives, cross-country skiied (past tense : it's been 10 years), and generally gets away with ignoring it.

who was at Cornell in the late 60's when the now CEO of TIAA/CREF walked out of the student union with a rifle in his hand and onto the cover of Time, was in Washington for anti-Cambodian invasion demonstration in May 1970 and got to spend a LONG time on Sunday in Virginia on the way home looking for an open store which had Tampax for one of my fellow-travelers.

who is PROUD never to have voted for a Republican, (This is my wife's line: "Some of our Best Friends KNOW Republicans") and wonders if I'd voted for Hubert Humphrey instead of Eldredge Cleaver whether Nixon MIGHT have lost.

who has been married 29 years next February, and proud of that, too.
