So you thought coiling was a "neglected" art. Many basket makers will not even consider attempting coiling...BUT did you know there is another, slower, more involved technique, which has even fewer practicing artists? Take a look at these fabulous links to coiling's "sister"...the art of knotting around a central coil...where sometimes there are hundreds of binder threads hanging all at once...WOW.
