Sarah's every boring thought! |
6/7/2003 - Hi. I just came up with the idea of starting my own blog. My sister wastes long hours reading these each week. I am not sure which ones she reads. Political ones, I think. The fact that no one is interested in my spoken political views should tip me off to not focus on politics. Plus, that would require me to read the news and informed opinions are as boring as they are rare. The blog idea was somewhat born out of the travel diary I kept on my recent trip to Fiji and Kiribati. My friend Dana gave it to me before I left and it turned out to be a nice idea. I had a fun time writing in it and I am sure that I will have fun reading it in the future. I kept diaries years ago, but I was always afraid that I would die and someone would read them and think I was a big loon. 6/9/2003 - So anyway, one day I took all my diaries and chunked them in a dumpster. When I become infamous, this will undoubtedly be considered a big loss to Sarah scholarship... I wonder if it is possible to read someone's blog without hating them. I think probably not. I am currently watching Cops on the boob toob. I am glad that I pretty much stay on the right side of the law. People react very badly to arrest and search warrants. It is weird how surprised people always act even though they have pounds of drugs on them. People need to forget about their metamphetatmines (sp?) and get Red Bull softdrink if they want to feel high and icky. I made a big mistake and drank one earlier. I feel awful and can't sleep. Blah. Of course, today's naps could have something to do with the sleeplessness. Hmm... It is kind of hard to decide what to write since I am not sure who my blog audience is supposed to be... If only my cats could read... My cats are very happy that I am back from my vacation. They must have missed me a lot because they have been agressively affectionate since I got back. Bean keeps waking me up by snuggling in my arms. Then, he kicks me in the stomach repeatedly until I blow into his face to make him go away. Big weirdo. 6/11/2003 - Since I have gotten back from my trip I have been strangely about twice as lazy as usual. Maybe I have some weird tropical disease. However, I fought through the laziness and finally posted my trip pictures on Yahoo. I am not sure where this blog is going. Perhaps a slightly amusing Sarah anecdote is needed? Sarah was very grumpy last night so she decides to have a drink. Finding nothing to mix with vodka, she decided to drink it straight with ice. Because of the fine vodka supplied by friend Lee this actually does not taste too bad which encourages overconsumption. The last of one bottle gives way to another bottle. Extremely drunk at this point and now bored, she calls man friend Robert to discuss his refusal to agree that he would eat a hairball she pulled out of her comb for a hypothetical one million dollars. Blessedly for Robert, she eventually passes out and wakes up three minutes before she is supposed to appear at work. Now, after feeling sick as a dog at work all day, I can't sleep at 4:30 in the morning! Poor me... Sniff sniff. Down with booze. 6/19/2003 - Note to my reading public... Do not surf Ebay late at night. I was talking to my friend Lee from Boston on the phone and he told me that he just bought some tire rims off Ebay (???). He asked me if I have ever bought anything off Ebay. I told him that I impulsively bought a lot of stupid stuff off Ebay in the past... Then, for some reason, I went to the web site and before the conversation was over, I made another impulsive bid! On an aquamarine ring that may or may not even fit since I don't even know what my ring size is... Hopefully, I will lose the auction. I have the stupid habit of thinking to myself..."I should really buy a (fill in the blank...)" Then, I think this for about 10 years until one fine day I spend the $5.00 or $70.00 that it would cost to get one. Then I think, why did I wait 10 years! I am still having this conversation with myself about DVD players though I hear that they are going at Wal-Mart for $38.00. I am waiting until they are $1.55... It took me 15 years (since I was 18) to buy a table. I finally did last year since I was having from.... Link to blog continuation... |
