HOW TO MAKE SQUASH MAJA Ingredients: 1 cup cornstarch 3 cups coconut milk, 2nd extraction 1 cup coconut milk, 1st extraction 1 ½ cup squash, boiled and mashed 1 ¾ cup sugar ¼ tea spoon vanilla Procedure: Mix cornstarch and 1 cup coconut milk, 2nd extraction. Add the other 2 cups coconut milk, 2nd cup extraction, 1 cup pure coconut milk, squash, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well, then strain. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Pour in molder. Allow to cool and slice. Serve with budbud. Budbud: For every cup of “sepal ng niyog “, mix 1/3 cup sugar. Toast in frying pan until golden brown. 36. HOW TO MAKE SQUASH MACAROONS Ingredients: ½ cup butter 1/3 cup sugar, white 4 eggs 1 tall can condenswed milk ½ pack desiccated coconut ¾ cup squash, grated 2 tea spoon vanilla Procedure: Cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar by spoonful and blend well. Add one egg at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour in condensed milk. Stir in desiccated coconut, squash and vanilla. Mix well. Pour the mixture into muffin pans lined with aluminum foil and paper cups. Bake at 350 degrees fare height for 30 degrees. 37. HOW TO MAKE MANGO FLAVORED CANDY Mga Sangkap: 2 tasang asukal ( puti ) 1 tasang asukal ( brown ) 1 tasang tubig 2 tasang all purpose flour 1 tasang katas ng manga ( mashed ripe mango using blender ) ¼ kutsaritang asin pangkulay ( food coloring ) Paraan ng Panggawa: 1. Paghaluin ang asukal na puti at pula, asin, at tubig, manga sa kawali/kaserola. 2. Initin sa mahinang apoy hanggang matunaw ang asukal. 3. Hayaang kumulo hanggang ang temperature ay umabot sa 150 degrees celcius at dahan-dahang ilagay ang arina ( flour ) habang hinahalong mabuti. 4. Lutuin hanggang ang masa ay matuyo at hindi na dumidikit sa kawali/kaserola. 5. Ibuhosa baking pan na may kaunting arina ( flour ) at padaanan ng “ rolling pin “ hanggang maging pantay ang hugis. 6. Hiwain sa 1x4 sentimetrong piraso. 7. Palamigin at ibalot isa-isa sa “cellophane”. 8. Ilagay sa plastic bag at isara sa pamamagitan ng kandila o sealer. |
