Surgery: Surgery of some sort is a regular part of almost every day.  We routinely neuter and spay young and old pets.  Surgery is often used to remedy health prolems such as bladder stones, growth removals, uterine infections the  list goes on.  We also perform declaws for cats and tail and dewclaw removal in very young puppies,. of course there are surgeries related to emergencies such as lacerations and other wounds.

Dental care: A dental checkup should be a part of yur pet's regular care.  Pets accumulate plaque and tartar on their teeth just as humans do.  If left untreated it can cause gingivitis, bad breath and tooth loss. If a dental cleaning and/or extractions are needed this procedure can be performed, this does require anesthesia.

Laboratory: We are pleased that we can offer a full laboratory work up on your pet with the latest in house testing available: Heartworm checks(available year around) Feline leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus testing Fecal(check of a stool sample for parasites) ECG(Electrocardiogram) assists in diagnosing heart disease Basic blood profiles(indicates organ functions and identifies any problems not  apparent on physical exam) Urinanalysis(gives a good idea of how the body is functioning) If additional tests are indicated we work with several outside labs to obtain the information needed.

Radiographs: are often used as an important part of diagnosing medical problems ie confirming and defining fractures and visualizing some types of bladder stones.  Radiographs will show characteristics specific to diseases such as pneumonia and asthma.  Occasionally they confirm that you pet has eaten something that it shouldn't of eaten, they are also indicated if the abdominal palpation feels suspicious.

Grooming: We are no longer offering grooming for dogs.  We do still have cat grooming available.  Appts are limited.

Boarding:  We are no longer providing services for boarding.
