The king's birthday came. there was happiness everywhere. Many amusements were planned for the day. Tenalirama had not seen the king since the unpleasant happening regarding the paintings on the wall. Many came and greeted the king. But the king felt missing Tenalirama. Though he was unhappy on the event of paintings, he felt that he should not have given so big a punishment to Tenalirama. But he is a king and he cannot lose his prestige and call back Tenalirama.
There was a feast in the palace garden and there was much merry making. All on a sudden, there was a stir. Someone was advancing towards the palace, covering his head with a pot.
