Some *frequently* asked questions about Weiß Kreuz and the Pirate's site:

*What is Weiß   Kreuz? Howcome  it  has different  names?*

Weiß Kreuz is a real cool manga series by Takehito Koyasu, currently running as a hit animé. It's now dubbed in different languages, and, depending on the place of broadcast, the names may change. It's sometimes called "Weiss Kreuz" or "Weiz Kruz" and even, quite literally, "The White Cross."  In the Philippines it's even called the "Knight Hunters", or the "White Knights" since, quite obviously, German is a hard language to learn and pronounce.  ^.^

*What are  these   guys  there  for anyway?*

Well, to start off, they're 4 secret agents of a powerful and corrupt politician's brother, who still has some sense of justice within him.  They get "missions" of all sorts ranging from protecting the local citizens to saving their own asses.  (sweat drop, nerve) Oh, why don't you just proceed to the characters' section and find out more about the Knights, OK?

*Howcome  they look like  fags?*

[*picks up mallet and stares menacingly] Watch your mouth, you big Jabroni. Or I'll shove a  stahlruten up your candy ass.

*Why's your backdrop so... BLACK when in fact the title means "White Cross"?*

Well, it's just my little sense of irony. See, even if their group DOES mean the White Cross, the members fight with hearts burdened by dark memories and sometimes, dark ambition, selfish causes. And besides, doesn't black make white stand out quite nicely? Same goes for the guys, I guess. In their darkness, they find their light. They are, after all, "White in the Night." (thank you, thank you *bows*)

*What's the proper way to say "Weiß" then, anyway?*

The language is in German. It's sorta pronounced "Va-ys" as in VICE.  (Ever heard the song "Eidel Weiß?")In German, it means, "Forever clear and white", the kind that shines amidst darkness.

*In that case, since you say the title changes depending on the place of broadcast, do the character's names change?*

Um.... so far not. The purpose some name changes are for the veiwers to be more familiar with characters and faces, and so as not to make the dubbers sound stupid trying to pronounce and yell bloody murder at the same time.  But don't worry: In Weiß Kreuz only the title's changed, and the main characters remain pretty much the same, thanks to short, easily-pronounced names the author gave 'em!   ^_^

*Uh, what's German?*

". . . ."

*Why are they so cute? = #) *

[*puts down mallet and manages a small grin*] Aah, that's better. I don't have to hit you with my stahlruten. I don't really know why they're so cute, but don't you think it's better that way?                                                                                                  For you, I mean.  !_!

*If you really like Weiß Kreuz, why didn't you become a Miko instead?*

[Thinks it over] Nah. Too many Mikos out there. Gets boring now and then, I mean. Besides, Weiß Kreuz is just *ONE* of the animes I'm currently addicted to. ^.^

*Uh, who's Shadoll?*

Shadoll's my web-partner for Weiß Kreuz, and the real-life reincarnation of Taiki Sailor Star Maker. (Just kidding, don't kill me, Shadoll-chan!)
