Try these helpful hints
for stress relief
1. Go for a walk. You would be
surprised how much 5 min outdoors in the
fresh
air helps to clear up the cobwebs.
2. Sit in the dark, put on
some soft music and do some deep breathing.
Imagine
your on the beach, the warm sand under your feet and your
watching
and hearing the soft sound of the waves washing into shore over
your feet. Very relaxing.
3. Movement therapy. Turn
on some music, close your eyes, and let your
body flow with the music. Take some deep breaths and relax.
4. Organize your home. Get
rid of the clutter. You will be surprised at how
much more
in control you feel.
5. Think of your cup as half
full. Think positive. Tell your self "and this too
will pass"
or "everything will work out. It usually does."
6. Admit it to yourself if
you need help. Seek counseling. Professionals can
help.
7. Talk to a friend. Get the problem
out in the open. Just talking about it
can help to
put it all in perspective.
8. Take a break. Do something fun.
laughing is the best medicine.
9. Every morning tell yourself
10 things that you like about yourself. It helps
to remind yourself
what a great person you are.
10. Be positive. Think of one thing
at the end of the day that went well. Even
it it was as simple as " I didnt burn the toast today".
11. If you have kids, get your
friends together and take turns taking the kids
to give each other a break one day a week.
12. Give someone a hug today! It
feels great! And SMILE:)
more to come!
