Planned Puppyhood focuses on problem prevention and the teaching of
essential household manners. We discourage the use of food treats
in teaching commands. Happy praise and/or petting are the only
acceptable rewards.

Puppies begin thier lessons at 12 weeks of age. The owner must
provide a veterinarian's certificate at the first lesson. A
buckled collar and a 6-foot training leash are required.
(NO choke chain collars are permitted)
For puppies, time passes in the blink of an eye. At six months of
age, your pup is entering his adolescence, and by one year most breeds
are physically adult. You only have a brief window of time
(before 16 weeks) to mold your puppy's personality and guide his
behaviour.
Our methods have been
derived from The Monks of New Skete, Job Michael Evans, Carol Lea
Benjamin, Dr. Dennis Fetko, Brian Kilcommons, and other well-konwn and
respected behaviourists, trainers and veterinarians.
