Snap your wrist with a rubber band Take a freezing cold bath. Make or buy a cloth doll to represent thie things you are angry at and cut and tear it instead of yourself. Use a pillow to hit a wall pillow-fight style. Rip up and old newspaper or phone book. Draw a picture of yourself and mark red ink where you want to cut yourself. Cut and tear the picture. Flush the pieces down the toilet. Make clay models and smash them. Throw ice into a bathtub or against a brick wall so hard that it shatters. Go for a walk/jog/run. Write in a journal or write poetry. Sing as loud as you can. Scream as loud as you can. Take deep breaths. Take a red felt-tip pen and mark on yourself where you want to cut. Cry. |
