This building was constructed in 1934, when the Base was a make work project in the depression. It was the Base transport Section until 1986 when it was converted to the present Fire Hall.
The area is rough and the tops of the hills are blown off, it's hard to believe this is Saskatchewan.
Sometimes there are surprises in the burned off grass
The trees aren't big but they can do damage to the trucks.
Even after a couple of days we still have alot of hot spots to put out .
