One of the best Re-enactments we ever had the honor of participating in. Plattsburg still burns fresh in our memories to this day. We stood proud that weekend, as we portrayed the brave Citizen Soldiers of of the 89th Regiment E.M.M. Those 2 Companies stood boldly (although outnumbered) against the Confederate forces of Col. J.C.C. Thornton and Major John Thrailkill's So called "Army of Northwest Missouri". We look forward to a possible Plattsburg event in the near future. |

2002 2nd Btln Spring Muster Lexington MO.
In April, the 2nd Battalion of the U.S. Frontier Brigade held it's second annuel Spring Muster. The brave boys of the Consolidated Company turned out in force to support the battalion, and to spend a weekend drilling and preparing for future service in the field. The 2nd Battalion has quite the reputation, and is known for spending many of an hour on the drill field, and it was reported that an unknown observer told our Captain - "Boy, you guys are drilling fools!" |
