Playmo Fire Department was created in 1997, and has been in operation for 8 years. PFD currently opperates out of 6 fire stations, with 5 engines, 2 ladder trucks, 1 quint,
1 squad, 1 rescue unit, and 2 ambulances. These 6 fire stations are staffed 24 hours a day by 3 shifts, for a total of 87 career firefighters. Playmo Fire Department is equipped to respond to traffic accidents, structure fires, hazmat emergencies, tecnical rescues, and can provide advanced life support to the citizens living in the city or township of Playmo. |
