Subject: Cultural Heritage

As I write this I feel the hopelesness that must have tormented Cultural Minorities over the ages.
Today the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission votes on further curtailing the use of dogs in hunting.
From my Communication with them I have no doubt that my ancient lifestyle is in greater peril than ever before.
When I was a Child in School, almost all of my friends moved away to pursue Careers as they grew older.
Now these same Loved Ones and Friends are retireing and moving back home.
They remember the Lower Taxes and Land Values, as well as the safer Schools.
However, as they are Searching so Dilligently for their ROOTS, they have brought back with them the VALUES of the area where they resided for so long.

One such Person, who had never seen Cattle Dogs work before, called the Police to come stop "A PACK OF WILD DOGS FROM ATTACKING A COW".
This well intentioned person, did not know that the cow was a ROGUE STEER that was breaking fences and that the Steer and the Dogs, belonged to a local STOCKMAN, who was on HORSEBACK,  herding the Steer back home.

This Letter is my simple Plea to ask that you do all that you can to stop further errosion of our Cultural Heritage.
The very same values that the returning Home Person is so Desperately seeking.
We have something Valuable here,  or these RETURNING HOMEFOLKS wouldn't be here.

Please don't let their OVERREACTION to RE-ENTRY into our CULTURE, cause legal changes that may permanently change our very way of Life.
