History of the Gold Rush
The Gold Rush started in 1848 when John Sutter was building a saw mill out in Coloma when he stumble upon a gold piece of metal. John Sutter kept it on low profile about his discovery that it was gold. The founding of gold led to a high population in northern California. Many people were out to get some gold of themselves and women also with men were digging also. Women work hard as man digging into gold mines and working day and night eventhough they had a family to take care of. Gold would enable a family to make some type of income and eventually get a sturdy place to stay at. Wome worked hard as man in search of gold digging  into the ground hoping to get their hands on a peice of yellow shining metal that was gold. The Gold Rush of 1848 was a time of searching for gold and a new life.
   Gold Rush Women's 10 commandments
1. Thous shall not have no other wife then me..
2. Thou shalt not take into thy house any beautiful brazen image of a servant girl, to bow down to her for I am a jealous wife , visiting.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of thy in vain.
4. Remember thy wifeto keep her respectably.
5.Honor thy wife's mother and father.
6. Thou shalt not fret.
7. Thou shalt not find fault with thy dinner.
8. Thou shalt not chew tobacco.
9. Thou shalt not be behind thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not visit the rum tavern, thou shalt not covet the tavern's keeper rum nor brandy's, nor his gin, nor his whisky, nor his wine, nor anything that's behind the bar of the rum seller.
11.Thou shalt not visit billiard saloons neither for worshipping on the dance, nor the heaps of money that lie on the tables.
12. Thou shalt not stay out later than nine o clock at night.
