The Second Hand Forsaken is based on a challenge issued at PretenderChallenges (a yahoo group) by Kye. The challenge was to take any three characters with any backstory and any reason, playing Truth, Dare, Double Dare, Torture, Kiss or Promise. I couldn't follow it exactly, but it gave my brain a jolt that flung me at my computer keyboard.
