| Welcome! Thank you for visiting the Plum Crazy Ladies of Sierra Vista. Our chapter was chartered on February 10th, 2005. We meet at least once a month for a varitey of "hat-penings", gatherings, events & activities. We believe in eating dessert first, as life is too short to do otherwise...we believe in "dress-up"...we believe in laughter & tears & supporting our sisters. We are dedicated to acting silly and having fun - together! ****** We welcome inquiries from Red and Pink Hatters! Our chapter is full, but we will be happy to help you start your own or find one that has room for you! ******* Much of the philosophy of the Red Hat Society is based upon the poem "Warning" by Jenny Joseph. "When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple With a red hat that doesn't go and doesn't suit me...." and so it goes - a message to women of all ages, that we need not be invisible as we age. We need not be content to sit and knit or read - but rather, we can get off our rockers and have a rolicking good time!
