INTRODUCTION
On my webpage you will find information allowing you to properly scan trunked radio systems in East Central Iowa.  The information provided is what you need to scan these systems using your Uniden/Bearcat Trunkracking scanner.  By doing so, you will be getting the most out of your new BC250D or BC785D Digital Scanners, as well as the latest digital scanners that have been release by Uniden.  Information is included for Motorola, GE/Ericsson, and LTR formats.

Conventional frequencies are listed at the bottom of this page, which include common frequencies used in Linn County and the surrounding area.  Please feel free to browse through and enjoy all the information that's available to you.  I always welcome input and new information that you may have.  If you plan on using any information listed here for your own personal website, please e-mail first asking for my permission to do so.

The following is the LCN (Logical Channel Numbering)information for local EDACS sites in the Linn County/Cedar Rapids area.The channel numbers above indicate the position that the frequencies need to be placed into a bank on the BC-250D / BC-785D for proper LCN/tracking of each system.

LTR TRUNKING INFORMATION FOR THE UNIDEN BC250D/BC785D

With LTR it's important to get the repeaters/home channels in the correct position in each bank of your scanner.  You can track them on the BC250D/785D, as well as with the latest digital trunktracking scanners released by Uniden.

Motorola XTS3000 Astro Portable w/ full-keypad.  Like those used by Cedar Rapids Police and Fire supervisors.  Line staff use same radio, without LCD display and full keypad.
