PETAWAWA MINOR SOCCER CLUB INCORPORATED
                                              CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS
                                                                  (PMSC)

 
ARTICLE I - NAME

1.1    The name of this organization shall be the PETAWAWA MINOR SOCCER CLUB,         INCORPORATED, hereafter referred to as the PMSC.


 
ARTICLE II - AUTHORITY FOR ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION

2.1   The PMSC is established under the authority of the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA), Soccer  Northeastern Soccer Association (SNE), and the Town and Base of Petawawa.

 
ARTICLE III - AIM AND OBJECTIVES

3.1 The purposes of the PMSC are:

      a.  to promote, encourage and organize the game of soccer in the Town of Petawawa;

      b.  to promote fellowship, good sportsmanship and respect for authority;

      c.  to provide the opportunity for maximum participation regardless of ability;

      d.  to develop the skills required to advance the knowledge and skills of the players, coaches and    officials;

      e.  to provide a competitive level of play that will be enjoyable and contribute to the physical           development of the players;

      f.   to foster among its members, supporters and teams a general community spirit; and

      g.  to have and exercise a general care, supervision and direction over the playing interest of it's      teams and players.

 
ARTICLE IV - AFFILIATION

4.1   The PMSC shall annually affiliate with the Soccer Northeastern Ontario Soccer Association       (SNE).

 
ARTICLE V - MEMBERSHIP

5.1   Membership is open to any person willing to subscribe to the objectives, rules regulations and   program of the PMSC. Membership in the PMSC is divided into two categories:

      a. Voting Members – which are Board Directors, team officials, and parents of players; and

      b. Non Voting Members – which are players under 18, volunteers, supporters and sponsors.

5.2   Members in the PMSC are further divided into two categories, the players and the              administrative personnel. All parents of players, and team officials are considered members of the administrative function.
