Pippi's Bed & Breakfast is located a short stroll from the sandy harbour beach, shops and many cafes and restaurants of St Heliers.
St Heliers is the last of the bays east of and close to Auckland City. A bus trip from downtown Auckland takes you round the waterfront drive through Okahu Bay, Orakei, Mission Bay and Kohimarama to St Heliers. Here there is good local shopping, cafes and restaurants, with the sparkling waters of the harbour always in sight. The waterfront prominade is ever picturesque and active. |

Mission Bay is 2 bays and about 2 kilometres west of St Heliers and has many restaurants and cafes, another lovely swimming beach, roller blade, bicycle and windsurfer hire, and a 4 cinema complex. A little further towards the city is the famous Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World. The Waitemata Harbour (Waitemata being Maori for 'sparkling waters') is probably one of the most beautiful boating harbours in the world with its numerous islands dotted about the sheltered gulf. There are many and varied water activities available, including a 10 minute ferry trip to Devonport, a quaint suburb/town on the North Shore, ferry trips to Rangitoto, Waiheke and other islands, fishing trips, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, charter boat rental, and many more. Tahuna Torea nearby is a bird sanctuary and a delightful walk for nature lovers. |

Pippi's Bed & Breakfast is a charming 60 year old English style home with a tranquil, colourful, sunny back garden set in a pretty tree lined street close to the village and beach (approx 400 metres). Enjoy the beautiful waterfront from our 2 multi-geared bicycles available for your fitness and fun. |

The spacious and comfortable bedroom has easy access on the ground level, queen size bed with electric blanket and feather duvet, Sky TV and stereo, and has an Italian tiled en suite bathroom. It is self contained with tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and fresh fruit. There is a phone in the room for your use, and you are welcome to use our fax machine, email and laundry facilities. Winter evenings are warmed by cosy fire and gas heating, and there is off street parking. |
