Indians trying out Shotgun for 2001 Season

PNG's Joey Price Selected for the 2001 Southwestern Bell All-Star Game
WO-S's Paul Thomas, Ozen's Chris McGhee and East Chamber's Cody Thibodeaux also representing SE Texas on the South squad.  The game will be played July 31 in Fort Worth.

PN-G standout signs as kicker for the Bearkats.

Michael Brignac signs with McNeese State
The Cowboys consider him a potential standout at offensive tackle.  Brignac will join 1999 PN-G standout Chris Gohlke.

Port Neches-Groves High School Named Whataburger Texas High School Team of the Week
Both athletic and scholastic programs were recognized for excellence.  Coach George Pachuca, athletes Joey Price and Katie Wappler were also recognized.  The award was presented to PN-G athletic director Matt Burnett on Jan. 29.

Cody Clark Named to 4A All-State Team
The senior linebacker received an honorable mention on the 4A All-State team.

PN-G fills 10 positions on 20-4A Coaches All-District Squad
Price, Hollis, Mercer, Davis, Boudoin make the first team.  Gary, Bergeron, Price, Swann, LeBlanc make the second team.

8 Indians named to Port Arthur News 20-4A All District Team
