Jeong-hwa Kang
My name is Jeong-hwa Kang. Just call
me, Lucy! I love to get to know new persons. My friends say that I’m sociable.
Actually, I like chatting very much. I can meet many people on-line and make friends
beyond time and space. Especially, whenever I happen to know foreigners through
chatting, I always try to get along with them. It’s one of the best ways of
giving a good impression of Korea, I think. And I like to learn foreign
languages. As long as I can afford to, I want to experience lots of languages
in the world.
I
don't think that I am old enough to have a sort of biography. Nor have I had achieved
anything worthy to record for the last 25 years. So it is not easy for me to
write my own biography. As long as I know, biography should be written by the
time order, shouldn't it? I love to watch all kinds of sports, except gymnastic
and equestrian, stuff. I think the world is fair only for the have’s. It would
be great if I worked in the field of journalism.

I’m
from Pusan in South Korea. I’m 22 years old and a junior of PNU. English
language and literature is my major, and I also major in Korean. There are 5
people in my family. My family members are my parents, my elder sister, and my
younger brother. I like to play games, which are Tetris and 1945 Airplane. Lee
Seung-hwan is my favorite singer, so I enjoy singing his songs. I wish I could
teach Korean to many foreigners all over the world. I'll do my best for my

nickname is Jiny. My major is International Trade, and I will graduate this
year. I was born in Pusan and spent most of my childhood abroad. I lived for
four years in Chile and three years in Las Palmas. Las Palmas is one of the
island of Canary Islands. It's a beautiful place with Mediterranean mood all
around. From the middle school, I was in Korea and studied hard like all the
Korean students do. I like all kinds of sports except boxing. I enjoy playing
tennis and swimming.
Have
you ever heard my name? Maybe yes. As you know, my name is the same as that of
a heroin in a soap opera. So whenever I introduce myself to someone, they say
with smile, "Yes, I heard a lot about you." At first, I was confused,
but now, I can understand that they make just a joke. Furthermore, since the
movie Shiri was released, my nickname
has been Shiri. However, I want to tell my friends that I am proud of the name
given to me by my father. Remember my name!

I like composition very much, so I always enjoy
this class. I also like reading others' compositions, because I'm very curious!
When I am free, I usually surf on the Internet. That way, I can get lots of
useful information, especially about world news or foreigner newspapers. They
are helpful for improving my reading and writing ability. I really love my
composition class, so I hope to enjoy this class with all of you. A few months

I come from Pusan in Korea and am twenty-three
years old. I was born in Mun-Hyun Dong, but I live in Yong-Ho Dong. My hobbies
are swimming and baseball. Since I joined a baseball club, I have steadily
played baseball, but I hardly ever go swimming now. Although I major in mathematics,
I also study English and computer-programming in order to get a job. I think my
English is improving through this class, compared with my previous English
ability. In the future, I will do my best in studying English.
I'm a student of PNU majoring in biology. I have
lived in Pusan since I was born in 1978. I love to watch movies, listen to
music, and sleep. One of my favorite movies is The English Patient, and one of my favorite songs is Anarchy in the U.K." by Megadeth.
After school, I usually go to work for my part-time job. And at home, I turn on
the computer and write some e-mails to my friends; then I fall asleep. I'm a very
lazy woman, but I'm very easy to deal with. I like to make friends with anyone.

I am a mere being like a dirt in this world. I
am too trivial to do anything to reform the world. But it is so meaningless
that I live my life like a real dirt. Eating, wearing, and seeking pleasure cannot
be accepted as the object of life. I do not want to follow after that life. The
life which proves the human being, that is my life. The fact mentioned above is

Since
my parents are in Brazil, I live with my grandparents. Sometimes, my
grandparents and I have some conflicts, but we do get along pretty well. I
think we have adjusted to each other. I like to do sports like swimming,
tennis, golf, baseball, and basketball. I was actually a swimmer and won
lots of medals. I also like to climb mountains, and I think I have been
influenced by my father. When I was young, he always took me to the
mountains. I don't think I know much about myself, especially about my personality,

have seen, I think Leaving Las Vegas

Korean and Korean literature, and my minor is English and English literature. I
am very interested in movies, music, and literature. I like musical movies,

for they have many good songs in

I'm
Jay, and I'm also a "wannabe" Joycean (one of ardent fans of James
Joyce). At the entrance of a long, slumberous winter, there are a couple
of things that comes to my mind from time to time: several poems of Frost,
snow-covered forests in New England, and the conflict between
the inclination toward hibernation and the desire of awakening.
These days, I often imagine myself walking around those forests in New England,
as Frost's traveler did in "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening".

of four siblings; that gave me people skills, so I like to meet people and make
new friends. I had five very close friends in my major department before two of
them moved to the Education Department, but we are still having a good

like to introduce myself simply. Usually, when people first meet me, they remember
me, because I don’t look like an ordinary man. I am the opposite of ‘handsome’.
I have a long face, tiny eyes, full lips, and the back of my head sticks out.
But people also notice that I got a sense of humor, I do not like a cold
atmosphere, so I always turn it to a delightful one. Some people think I am of
