The colors of our life,
Ever changing, come and go,
With different shades and hues,
That get brighter as we grow.
We might start out mostly white,
With peace and harmony,
Then add a bit of yellow,
For shy inspiration, you see.
With some green we're calm and friendly,
Orange will motivate us too,
A bright red will give us strength,
For faith and trust, it's cobalt blue.
More colors come around us,
Inside us too, so it would seem,
Perhaps we add the humble purple,
So when we sleep, that we can dream.
Tan comes to give us courage,
Brown keeps our feet on solid ground.
Both will help us when our true love,
Pretty pink, has come around.
Yes our life is like a rainbow,
Different colors, bold and bright,
Bringing happiness and joy,
When we're filled with love and light.
