| In honor of the fallen firefighters lost on 9/11/01, my father had a plaque made up and presented to the Lady's Island St. Helena Fire Department of which my brother Billy is a member. The picture above shows some members of the Fire Department with dad and on the right is my dad and brother Billy. |

| Mom celebrated her 70th birthday September 3, 2003. All of the sisters chipped in and treated mom to a day of pampering. We hired a limosine and kidnapped her from work. Rode around town, then spent the afternoon at the spa. The day ended with a wonderful dinner at Saltus in downtown Beaufort. |
