Begin to fine tune your drawing by joining the lines of the elipses to each other. (This will make you character look more like a person.)
If you haven't already done so, draw the shapes of the hands and feet in.
Tip: Don't put a lot of detail and hard work into the hands and feet since there are still the shoes and clothing to draw which will, for the most part, cover the hands and feet.

Sketch in the face guidelines. The eye guideline should be no higher then the center of the circle piece of the head. The guideline for the nose should be in between the space of the eye guideline and the point of the chin. The line for the mouth should be just a little below the nose line.
Note:
This will vary a little from character to character since different characters have different facial structures.
