Stone Mountain aka Mingo has had a rough start in life. Raised from a weanling in a stall with limited turnout he spent most of 2000 and the beginning of 2001 in a stall. He was rescued by Gold Rush Paints and Quarter Horses in March of 2001,where as you can see has thrived in thier care. He is still a young stallion and has limited breedings ( only 6 mares) but has managed to keep his wonderful attitude. He should be finished under saddle in 2002, his recovery has made this a very slow process. He is being trained Western but also shows the ability for English.
Mingo will be standing to a limited book of 10 outside mares in 2002. His introductory fee is $ 350.00, contract required and booking fee is 50%. |
