ABOUT MS. SIMPSON

I grew up in Dearborn Heights (near Metro Airport) and graduated from Annapolis High School, home of the "Mighty Cougars".  I was involved in sports, theater, and dance.

In 1991, I also opened a retail store called, "SideStep Dance & Fitness Apparel"         During this time I also directed the Vicksburg Community Education Dance and Tumbling Program.

I attended Western Michigan University.  In addition to the Education Program, I also completed a dance minor.  When time permits, I like to participate with the Kalamazoo Civic Theater.   Some of my favorite shows included, "West Side Story", "A Chorus Line", and "Cabaret"

"CRAZY FOR YOU"

I have two precious dogs, Ruby and Ginger.  Ruby is known for opening doors, turning on faucets, but especially for watching TV.  I'm not joking!  She even has favorite shows and commercials. Ginger is known for, well, being a princess.

I was fortunate enough to be placed in Vicksburg Schools for my internship.  I began teaching 8th grade Math and Algebra in 1999.   The staff, students, and parents of Vicksburg are wonderful.  I absolutely love it!
